The Project
St. John’s Philoptochos is honored to sponsor the Commemorative Paver Project as part of the ongoing Plaza Beautification initiative — a lasting tribute to our parish’s legacy, faith, and the people who have shaped it.
The project includes two meaningful spaces on our church grounds:
The first area is the Very Reverend John Kefalas Memorial Walkway, a newly created path connecting the Church to the Center, dedicated to the memory of Father John. The second is the Very Reverend Constantine Theodore Memorial Monument, located at the site of our original church where the icon of St. John has been placed, honoring the memory of Father Theodore. Both the walkway and the monument are part of a broader effort to beautify our church plaza and preserve the memory of those who have faithfully served our parish.
A Lasting Tribute
Pavers may be inscribed in memory of loved ones, in honor of church stewards, or in recognition of individual donors. Members, family, and friends are also invited to personalize pavers with special dates, such as weddings, baptisms, and anniversaries. These pavers will serve as lifetime reminders of the lives, families, and milestones that have been touched by St. John’s throughout the years.
Supporting Our Restoration Fund
All proceeds from the Commemorative Paver Project will benefit the Restoration Fund, supporting the continued care and restoration of our beloved church and campus. We invite you to leave your mark on St. John’s — a symbol of love, faith, and legacy that will endure for generations.
